Natural Colon Cleanse – How to Know What’s Natural and What’s not in a Colon Cleanse

natural colon cleanse

Is trying a colon cleanse something you’re thinking about these days? If so, I imagine that you’re probably researching your options to find out what’s available.

As you may have already noticed, colon cleansing is a big business in the world of natural health and healing. No doubt that there are a lot of different treatments and products out there to choose from.

I’ve looked into a lot of them and tried many myself and I want to tell you that not all of them work very well. Some don’t work at al and a few even contain unsafe ingredients or combinations of ingredients.

In this article I’m going to give you some tips on how to make sure you avoid cleanses that don’t do what they are supposed to.

One way to tell colon cleansing products apart is to look at their ingredient lists. And all natural colon cleanse product should contain only natural whole food and herb ingredients with names you can recognize.

Watch out for cleanses that contain the following. There is no sense in purchasing them.

Apple pectin

Bentonite clay

Calcium carbonate

Carnauba wax

Dicalcium phosphate

Food glaze

Fructose

Gelatin

High amalyse corn starch

Inolin

Magnesium stearate

Methylcellulose

Natural Flavors

Polyethylene glycol

Potassium carbonate

Silicon dioxide

Titanium dioxide

Xantham gum

Fish

Milk

Wheat

Soy

Here’s another thing for you to bear in mind. Just because a cleanse contains only ingredients that you can pronounce, does not mean that it’s necessarily 100% natural. That’s because the herbs used in some cleanses may have been grown using chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Worse yet, the herbs may have been irradiated, a harsh process that leaves them entirely worthless for cleansing.

When you are considering a cleanse make sure to ask if all the ingredients are certified organic or wild crafted, non-GMO, and non-irradiated.

You’ll be glad you did.
